Fight Call premiers at Fertile Ground Festival

Wow, what a great ride this is. It’s a new musical based (loosely) on Shakespeare’s MacBeth. It’s actually the story of the Elderberry Community Theatre’s new production of Mac, the Musical. When the lead character says the forbidden name of the Scottish Play at the end of the opening number, chaos ensues. It is always great to work on new projects in development, but this is special. It is the first staged reading with a professional cast, and it is written by 16 and 18 year old brothers Steve and Billy Rathje. It is an amazing thing to be in one room with that much talent. I am loving working with this cast as their Musical Director. Wow!! Thanks for letting me play in this sandbox! The show opens at the CoHo Theatre at 2pm on Jan 21st. Other performances are Jan 28 and 29. Check the Fertile Ground website for ticket information.
